Arden’s Community Farm Is Now Open
Arden’s Community Farm and Barn are officially open! As one of the first agrihoods in South Florida, Arden provides residents with a unique, farm-to-table lifestyle that focuses on healthy living and being in harmony with the environment.
The Farm
At the heart of Arden is the five-acre working farm, which provides residents with organically grown produce, herbs and flowers throughout the year. The Farm is managed by our two full-time Farm Directors, but there are plenty of opportunities for residents to volunteer and get their hands dirty if they’d like to learn more about farming and gardening.
What’s grown varies based on the season and growing conditions, but our Farm Directors strive to provide a diverse selection of flavorful produce. Residents receive regular Farm Shares of produce – and it’s all included in the HOA dues. Every Farm Share is different and includes a variety of tasty treats, from tomatoes and peppers to dill and strawberries.
The Barn
The Barn is where the community comes together. Here, residents can participate in seasonal events and activities planned by our Lifestyle Director, in partnership with the Farm Directors. Classes cover a variety of topics for all ages and skill levels, from flower arranging to healthy cooking.
The Barn is also where our onsite Farm Store is located. Residents can purchase additional overflow vegetables, fruits and flowers, plus locally sourced products, at the Farm Store. It’s like having a farmers market just down the road!
On the second Sunday of every month, you can come tour the Farm and Barn at Arden and really experience the agrihood lifestyle. In the meantime, make sure to join our Founders Club to receive news and updates.
